The Sew Steady Portable Table is a clear 18" x 24" Plexiglas table that can be cut specifically to fit any sewing machine. The table surface is positioned flush with the free arm to create a much larger work area. The benefit of the larger area is that if you are piecing fabric you can lay out the pieces on the table prior to piecing. When quilting you have a larger area so that fabric does not pull on the needle. It creates a two-level surface so that items such as scissors, pins, and so forth can be kept easily to hand and can be seen through the clear Plexiglas table.
