Fusible Thread Fusible thread is best when used in the bobbin of a conventional machine or the upper looper of a serger. The more fusible thread that is exposed, the better the bond. Fusible thread is used most often for basting. It forms a secure bond, but like basting it will come apart if pulled with substantial force. 150 yards per spool. Sample use includes: aligning the pattern on two pieces of fabric, easy zipper application, bias tape--perfect every time, for padded applique, or facings. See insert for details.
